Kellie & Christina ~ 5.28.22

They say if you love something, let it go. If it comes back, it’s yours. That’s how you know. It’s for Keeps, yeah, it’s for sure. This is Kellie and Christina’s love story!

The two met when they were 14 but didn’t date until they were 21. For the next 7 years, they were inseparable until they sadly went their separate ways.

Fast forward to 2018 when the two reconnected and realized, they were meant to be. Forever.

In 2020, when the world was in complete chaos, Christina planned her proposal while the two were out at Hocking Hills. Christina wrote Kellie a 5-page letter of their past and present, had a dozen roses waiting, and led Kellie outside to several bags laid out that read, “Will you marry me”, and proposed.

On May 28, Kellie and Christina were surrounded by family and friends, who represented with PRIDE, on a beautiful, sunny Saturday at the Venice Club. There were flower Guys, Beer Guys, and rainbow colored smoke bombs that made this day memorable!

Thank you, Kellie and Christina, for allowing me to be a part of your day! I wish you two nothing but the best!

Pam & Shawn ~ 9.20.20

In December of 2019, I met Pam who was planning to walk down the isle to Shawn in September 2020. While sitting in a brand new Starbucks near the downtown Columbus area, Pam shared that my first EVER wedding couple recommended me to her (shout out to Tanika and Marcellus). Once we approached the end of our meeting, we both knew that this was going to be a stress-free wedding.

Then enters 2020! Not only has this year showed up and showed out, normalcy as we knew it was about to change. Right before the pandemic hit, Pam and Shawn received some devastating news that their wedding venue had closed its doors forever. Not only did the venue close its doors, the venue took everything that Pam and Shawn put into their wedding.

Then…the shutdown happened. Uncertainty, the great unknown, and everything in between crept in . But then restrictions and mandates were put in place and a glance of hope was starting to shine.

Pam and Shawn finally found a new venue and their September 20th date was still going to happen.

On this beautiful Fall day, Pam and Shawn got ready to stand in front of their friends and family and say those wonderful words that unite them as Husband and Wife. Although we were all wearing masks, this new normal did not affect the joy and love that could be felt in the building. Smiles could been seen and people who were unable to attend were there via cellphone. Everything was perfect!

Congrats Pam and Shawn! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of you special day!

Angelic & Leachuin ~ 5.28.17

Oh...let me tell you about this fun-loving, adorable couple who met at Ohio University and got married over Memorial Day weekend. I first met with Angelic last December and at that moment, we connected. One of my favorite things about our meeting was how she and her soon to be groom met. Angelic tried to avoid Shawn like the plague but ended up finding themselves committing to each other as husband and wife 11 years later.

On May 28, the forecast predicted rain. The ceremony location was set for outdoors at the beautiful Northstar Golf Club. While everyone was getting ready, the dark clouds were rolling in and at times it looked as if the storm was going to ruin the proposed plan to say "I Do" outside. As the time approach for everyone to take their positions, the sky returned to its baby blue color and the sun was shining down on everyone in attendance. Needless to say, the rain held out until the last hour of the reception and at that point...no one cared.

Thank you Angelic and Shawn for allowing me to be a part of your day! I wish you two nothing but the best!

Special shout out to the fabulous Kate Heitkamp of kHa Lifestyle Photography for helping me capture some really awesome shots!

Katie & Isaiah ~ 4.22.17

On April 22, 2017, Katie and Isaiah tied the knot. These two are the most cutest couple ever and I enjoyed being apart of their day. I have to be honest, I was a little bummed that the weather predicted to rain that Saturday (I know...rain is good luck) but trying to capture any portraits with one hand, holding an umbrella with the other didn't seem like a bunch of fun. Plus getting the whole bridal party wet didn't sound ideal either. Lucky for us, the rain didn't show up. It was cloudy with a peek-a-boo of sunshine.

Katie and Isaiah's love for each another showed throughout their wedding day and there is no doubt that these two were meant for each other.  Congratulations Katie and Isaiah!
